  • experiencing problems in your relationships
  • having difficulties in making transition due to major changes in your life
  • experiencing the loss of who or what was important to you, through separation, divorce or bereavement
  • suffering from a serious and/or terminal illness or having to care for someone suffering from such an illness
  • feeling that you have lost your self confidence or are suffering from low self esteem
  • feeling lethargic, unworthy, nothing interests you or makes you happy in your life
  • having constant stress and worry in your work, study or personal life

then you may also be feeling depressed, angry, anxious, tense or ‘empty’. These feelings are your natural responses to major life events, but they can also be overwhelming and very powerful to a degree that where they can effect your ability to effectively deal and cope with demands of life.

Everyone finds it difficult to cope at times and you may need help to deal with difficult issues or major changes.

Counselling and Psychotherapy can help!

Counselling or psychotherapy is an unique process where your concerns are listened to by a professionally trained, skilled, compassionate, emphatic practitioner and who works with you in order to begin to understand and work through the issues which keep you stuck, lethargic or cause you emotional or even in some cases physical pain.

I offer you a confidential, peaceful setting where you can feel safe to talk about yourself freely. Being able to talk freely can be a great relief and helps you take control of your situation.

Training, qualifications & experience

My counselling career started with studying Psychological Services in Education at university in overseas in 1993. My study was based on counselling psychology, psychometric and the psychological foundation of education and I gained a bachelor degree.

After my degree I had worked in both the business and education sectors at the same time (starting in 1997 in overseas). I counselled and provided psychological guidance to children, and young people as well as their social adult environment. I loved the counselling and psychotherapy most within the psychological services, decided to resume my career in this area. For gaining further knowledge and experience in the area of counselling and psychotherapy, I took up 2 year study in a topic of From Psychoanalytic to Psychodynamic Therapies.
Following this I worked on a women’s psychological help line and engaged with my first private practice for adults in overseas.Since I settled in the U.K. I signed up to more study and experience in integration of variety of counselling theory and techniques. This allowed me to gain an Advance Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. I have worked in many voluntary organisations since 2010 in the U.K.such as counselled refugees and asylum seekers in Derman-London , young people in NO.5 -Reading, children in schools with Place2Be and adults Berkshire Counselling Centre.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
