About me

I am a dedicated, qualified counsellor who brings compassion to clients of all ages and holds a deep belief in the healing power of empathy and understanding.

I offer professional counselling services designed to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings. Specialising in person-centred counselling, I create an environment free from any psychological harm, ensuring that my clients feel secure and understood as they navigate their emotional landscapes.

I bring experience supporting adults and adolescents through challenges in private practice and local counselling agencies. My practice is underpinned by a solid foundation of academic and professional training, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.

Whether you are dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, or simply seeking a greater understanding of yourself, I am here to support you on your journey to personal growth and well-being.

I offer online and telephone counselling sessions tailored to your unique needs and experiences. These remote services provide the same level of empathy, confidentiality, and support as in-person sessions, allowing clients to engage in therapy from the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Additional information

I offer a free initial consultation to help us determine whether I am the right counsellor for you. During this session, we will discuss your expectations and needs, and you are welcome to share any questions or concerns. There is no obligation to commit at this stage, but I will provide all the information you need to make an informed decision about moving forward.

My fees are competitive and reflect the professional and compassionate care I provide. However, I am committed to ensuring that counselling remains accessible and supportive of your well-being and therapeutic goals. To accommodate this, I offer a concession rate for students and those who are unemployed.
