About me

Hi, please be aware that due to high demand I will not be adding any new clients to my waiting list for the time being.  When my waiting list gets shorter and I am taking on clients again I will remove this notice. I sincerely hope you find the right therapeutic support for you. Warm regards, Zac

I work online over Zoom or Skype. I offer a non-judgemental, accepting space where all aspects of your personality are welcome.

My clients come with a very wide range of issues, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client’s needs. I can support you to find a pace and style of therapy that feels safe and appropriate for you. If you have not accessed therapy before, it can feel daunting, or like a strange option to be considering. It is normal to feel like this, and these concerns are welcome too!

Sometimes we lose our connection. Life is often difficult, sometimes very difficult, and we adapt to survive. Our struggle to survive can often be expressed through Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, Anger, Obsessions, Self-Neglect… anyone could add something to this list.

I offer a chance to gain understanding of how the different aspects of your personality work together, and at the same time, to reconnect with your inner resources.

Please see my website for more details.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Fees

In order to reflect the wide gap between people's incomes, and between disposable incomes, I offer three different price brackets.

For clients with an 'average' disposable income, the fee is £35-£40 per session.

I am able to offer a limited number of client slots at £25 per session. I realise this still excludes many people, and if you can't afford this it may be possible to find cheaper or free therapy by searching for 'low cost' or free counselling services in your area. Or see your doctor for advice.

For clients with higher incomes, private wealth, or from countries with a favourable exchange rate to the UK, the fee is £60 per session.

Concessions offered for

  • Keyworkers
  • Low income

Advantages of Choosing Online Therapy…

Accessible:
Wherever you are in the world you just need a smart phone, tablet or computer and you can access your therapy session. Have therapy in the comfort of your home, on holiday, any private space that works for your lifestyle. It’s therapy to suit you.

Affordable:
Pay less than for therapy in an office.

Easy to Set Up:
I offer the equivalent of face to face therapy via a video communication platform called Zoom. This is like Skype, but I feel it is more intuitive and easy to use (you just click a link in an email that I send you).

Confidential:
Your sessions are completely confidential and never shared with anyone. Zoom is an encrypted video platform so is also completely confidential.

Saves You Time and Energy:
You won’t have to use up your precious time and money getting to and from a therapist’s office.

It Works!
Personally I really like this way of working. Online therapy is growing fast worldwide and many people find it works well for them. Try it yourself to see if it works for you.
