About us
Hi, I'm Bethanie Taylor (MBACP), and welcome to my profile.
I'm an integrative counsellor, this means that you will lead the sessions while I use my knowledge and various techniques, tailored to you, to allow for meaningful change in your life.
As I work integratively this allows me to use multiple different therapeutic approaches, when appropriate, for my clients. This includes mainly systemic approach, and psychodynamic approach, with Person-Centred therapy at the core of my work.
Our sessions will be held in a safe, judgement-free, and confidential space where we will work together to reach your goals. Whether it’s being heard, to gain self-insight, or clarity on a situation.
Everyone's journey is unique and I would be honoured to work with you on yours.

Member organisations *

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I offer open-ended counselling and psychotherapy sessions. The sessions will be held weekly, or biweekly, and last for 50 minutes.
For our online sessions, these will be held remotely usually via Google Meet. Also, you must be alone in a quiet, comfortable, and safe room in the UK. The device you use for sessions must have access to both a microphone and a camera.
When you reach out I will send you an Assessment Form and Counselling Contract.
These forms will give me a better understanding of your current situation, goals, and how we can work together effectively. Any information you provide will be kept confidential. The counselling contract will give you a clearer idea of what to expect from our sessions.
I then offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to go through any further questions or concerns before starting our sessions.
If you decide to proceed, we will agree on a regular time slot which best suits you. Although, if you even need to amend the day/time at any point, this can be arranged.
