About us
Human Givens Counselling is a solution focussed, talking therapy, using proven therapeutic techniques and the most up-to-date psychological knowledge.
The aim of Human Givens Counselling is to relieve emotional distress and help you move on as swiftly as possible. We may look at patterns and learning from your past, if those have been affecting your present.
We teach you strategies and use tailored, guided meditations to help you to relax so you can think more clearly; finding solutions, and developing your skills to approach present difficulties.
Human Givens therapists are trained in using a highly effective technique to deal quickly with past trauma and PTSD.
Human Givens Counselling is always positive. It aims to help you identify any unmet emotional needs and to rediscover and develop your own resources in order to get those needs met in healthy ways.
Human Givens Counselling is designed to help you change unhelpful patterns of behaviour using tried and tested techniques that are right for you, so you can move forward and live the life you want to be living.
