At different times in our lives, we need to talk to somebody who is not a family member, someone we think will listen, hear and understand what we are going through without being judged. This is the service that I provide for individual, families, and couples in the multicultural society that we are in. As an Intercultural Psychodynamic & Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, I believe that we all have a cultural heritage which might have shaped the way we perceive things. I often help my client, if they want to, to tap into this cultural part to enable an holistic support of our work together.
I am also a qualified IPV practitioner - Intimate Partners Violence practitioner, working with people who feel they are resorting to using violence in their relationships. My support here is enabling client to thinking of different ways of resolving a conflict. I run a set of both individual and group IPV programme over 30 weeks.
I also provide clinical supervision for therapists and counsellors as well as trainees individually and in a group.
