About me

Welcome to the next step in your journey. As a person-centred therapist, my approach is rooted in the belief that every individual has the inherent capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. My practice is dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where both children and adults can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.

With a deep commitment to empathy and understanding, I strive to meet you exactly where they are in their journey. I recognise the uniqueness of each person's story and the importance of being truly heard and understood. By fostering a genuine therapeutic relationship, I aim to empower my clients to connect with their inner strengths, navigate life's challenges, and achieve personal growth.

Working with children requires a special sensitivity and creativity, and I bring a warm, patient, and playful approach to engage young minds. I am adept at using various therapeutic techniques that resonate with children, helping them express their feelings, build resilience, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. For adults, I offer a supportive and reflective environment where they can explore complex emotions, resolve past traumas, and gain clarity on their life’s direction.

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am a qualified clinical supervisor, committed to supporting fellow therapists in their professional development. I provide a reflective space where supervisees can explore their practice, enhance their skills, and maintain their well-being. My supervisory approach is collaborative, encouraging open dialogue and fostering growth through mutual respect and shared learning.

My extensive experience across diverse client groups has enriched my understanding of the human condition and deepened my respect for each individual’s journey. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child or looking for a supervisor to guide your professional path, I am here to help. Together, we can navigate the complexities of life and uncover the potential for transformation and healing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
