About me

As a committed and experienced Relate and BACP registered practitioner I can offer you a personal and professional approach to couple, individual counselling and psychotherapy. I also offer resilience coaching to help you deal with the increasing pressures of life and the resulting stress.

I have over seventeen years experience in helping clients work through their difficulties, whether relationship issues or individual ones I can help you in achieving the changes in your life or relationships you are looking for.

I see clients in comfortable consulting rooms in Hinckley or on-line offering appointments that suit you. I take an holistic approach to therapy using the best techniques from various counselling models in order to meet your needs, (please see details of my individual core training below).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

As well as working with couples and individuals, Working Relationships have been helping companies and organisations support their managers and staff since 2003.
We can provide training for staff and managers on dealing with pressure and increasing resilience as well as individual counselling and coaching support. For the employer there is no contractural agreement, costs are based on each individual consultation.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

I can see clients face to face or on-line during the day, evening and weekends. Appointments do not have to be the same time each week.
