About me

As a Counselling Psychologist I can offer you support with: anger, anxiety (general, health, panic, specific phobia, social), attachment, bereavement, complicated grief, CPTSD, depression, impact of cancer, life transitions, low self-esteem, managing emotions, neurodevelopment (ASD, ADHD, FAS), personality disorders (BPD), PTSD, relationship problems, self-harm, self-identity, stress management, substance abuse (alcohol, illicit, prescribed), suicidal thoughts, trauma (combat, emotional, physical, sexual).

I provide a tailored therapy for each person I work with that is designed uniquely for you, known as an integrative approach. As a Counselling Psychologist I work in a client-centred way holding humanistic values and integrate various skills and techniques from a range of psychotherapies including: CBT, ACT, DBT, CFT, EMDR, Schema therapy, and mindfulness.

Having lived life like you, experiencing various up and downs, I've navigated through various losses and traumas with support. I can offer you that specialised support and an individualised treatment plan to help you get to where you want to get to.

Training, qualifications & experience

Chartered Counselling Psychologist after initially completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and then completing my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology. Registered with both the HCPC and BPS

Also trained as a supervisor, having completed a BPS course.

Health and Care Professions Council

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
