Have you ever heard; I know what you're feeling! You're doing things wrong! You're making a fuss of nothing! You should try this! Someone else is worse off......sound familiar? With the growing stresses of modern life it's often difficult to know who you can turn to in a time of self need, without any judgement. That is where I come in. I provide a safe and secure environment for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings whilst reflecting upon where you are and where you want to be. I work integratively, meaning I take a number of different counselling theories and practices and combine them into the best therapy plan for you.
This is why I created GIFT. Giving Individuals Focused Therapy. All of my clients are individuals with there own unique journey to take through counselling and I adapt each session to the client's needs. I have worked in a number of areas, with detailed experience of bereavement, depression, physical and substance abuse and PTSD. I am here to support you.
I uphold the highest code of conduct and will always make sure my clients feel comfortable. To reflect this we will have an initial session together, so that we can meet and you can make sure you are happy. Together we will build a plan through your therapy and discuss how I can support you through this journey. I have a therapy dog (see pictures). Miley can be present in the sessions should you feel it would benefit. I look forward to hearing from you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
