Counselling provides an opportunity for you to be heard in a safe and confidential environment. Together we can explore your thoughts and feelings around present day challenges or events in your past and this in turn can lead to a better understanding of the issues and how they are affecting you. The process can assist in bringing about a shift in our perspective, an alternative to our often life-long patterns of behaviour.
Every journey begins with just one step and your search for support has brought you into this directory. I understand that lifting the phone can be difficult but you've made it this far and I will be only too happy to answer any questions you might have about the process. If I am engaged or otherwise unable to take your call, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I operate out of my practise in Holywood, a peaceful, safe and non-judgemental setting where we will work at your pace. Remember this is your process, and we will work collaboratively and with regular reviews to ensure that the process is working as well as possible for you. As a guide, clients usually avail of 6 sessions initially, at which point we can review the work and consider how you would like to proceed.
