I am a Personal Centred counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
The essence of Person Centred counselling is to work with the client, without judgement, to enable them to identify the best way to work through their issues.
I achieve this by providing a safe confidential space, so you can fully explore your issue, at your pace. This exploration enables you to identify changes that are needed to help with how your issues makes you feel.
What is discussed in the sessions is directed by you. I do not provide advice or suggest what is your best course of action.
I offer face to face counselling covering various issues that cause feelings of being overwhelmed.
I have experience of working with many issues, some of these are bereavement, bullying, anxiety, long term illness and feelings of guilt or low self esteem.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have attained
Level 2 and Level 3 CPCAB certificates in Counselling and a Level 4 CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

To book an appointment you can call me on my mobile. If I am not available please leave your name, number and the best time to call you back. You can also send me a request to contact you via this site, my website or Facebook page. To book an initial appointment you do not need to go into too much detail about the reason you are wanting or needing counselling.
In our first session I will be asking you information to gain an understanding of your issue. Any information you provide is treated in the strictest of confidence. If there are areas you find it difficult to talk about then we will go at your pace.
This session will also enable you to decide if you feel you can work with me. It is important that you feel you can be open and honest in the sessions going forward, as this will enable you to fully explore your issue and bring about change.
