About me
Are you feeling stuck or notice that you keep repeating the same patterns of behaviour? Are they stopping you from living life, making decisions that feel right for you or causing anxiety?
Having a calm, non-judgemental therapy space to focus purely on yourself can be a life-changing experience. Often we put others first and avoid our own feelings until we get to crisis point and don’t know what to do.
As a transactional analysis psychotherapist, our work together will often involve exploring how your past experiences impact your current thoughts, feelings and behaviours. This can enable a positive change in how you do things in the present. I also understand how current surroundings and life events can impact emotions and at times leave us feeling unsure of what to do or how to express ourselves.
I have experience working with clients experiencing a wide range of issues such as anxiety, low self- confidence, trauma, difficult feelings, sexual orientation, gender diversity, not feeling good enough, stress or lack of boundaries.
I have previously been a volunteer counsellor at LGBT Foundation and provide an inclusive and affirmative LGBTQ practice.
Experience of working with neurodivergent clients.
I also provide therapy to trainees who require a UKCP accredited therapist.
I offer a free 30 minute, no obligation consultation where we can explore in more detail your reasons for therapy and whether we would like to work together.
If you would like further information on how I can support you please contact me to arrange an initial free consultation.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Transactional Analysis or TA is an approach to psychotherapy that gives people a way of understanding themselves, their ways of thinking and behaving and how that has developed. Through TA we can also learn and understand how and why we respond in particular ways, relate to others in ways we do and how to bring about positive change.
