About me

I run a Manchester and online based therapy and counselling service. Depression, divorce, surviving coercive controlling relationships, health problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress, grief, bereavement, are some of the problems clients and I have worked with in the past.

I am trained and qualified in both Transactional Analysis and Neuro-Linguistic programming. These approaches are quite different in their philosophical roots but can also be complementary - one helps us to understand how our past may have shaped our present and the other helps us to look forward and set goals and change behaviours.

As well as working with individuals I am also employed by businesses to change cultures, processes and mentoring of employees.

I'm a mother of 2 , down to earth, warm friendly and welcoming and i will also challenge clients where needed to help them grow and live a better life for themselves.  My passion is around working with clients to help them to understand and express their emotions, look for changes they would like to make in their lives, identify patterns of behaviour that may be holding them back  and supporting people through changing aspects of their lives they are not happy with.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
