About me

There are times in everyone’s life when you just need to talk to someone. Someone who will listen and hear what you say without judging. Life has good times, but also bad times when it is difficult to cope, when you feel overwhelmed by events or feelings. As a trained counsellor I offer a safe place for you to talk through whatever is troubling you.

I am an integrative, person-centred counsellor which simply put means that the counselling is centred around you as a unique person. Sometimes I may draw on different types of therapy if we agree that these suit you. You are the expert on yourself and we will work together towards understanding and bringing fresh perspectives to your life.

The people I see come from all walks of life, some are bereaved or depressed, some are young people or teenagers trying to make sense of it all. Relationships and significant life changes often make us question basic assumptions about ourselves and our world, leaving us wondering who we are and where we are.

A counsellor is the best person to talk to when no-one else seems to understand you, when you don’t want to worry those close to you or perhaps think that your problems are trivial compared to other people’s. Everything that you say is completely confidential and counsellors are non-judgemental.

If you would like to make an appointment you can call me on 07923311550 for a confidential chat or you can email me on the link above.

Choosing a counsellor can be difficult. It is important to feel safe and comfortable with whoever you choose. This is why the first meeting, where we begin to get to know each other, and where you can find out more about counselling, is offered at a reduced rate of £20. Like all relationships, some will work really well and some less so, so if you don’t feel that the relationship is for you then that’s fine.

My fees are £35 an hour for all following sessions.
