About me

To support the local community at this challenging time ALL sessions are £20. Professional, experienced, friendly therapist. Adults. 16+ education.

Adults (lunchbreak sessions can be accommodated).

16+ education (I can adjust sessions times to fit in with free periods at school/college).

Face to face sessions available from September 2020 (current government guidelines adhered to).

9am-3pm Monday to Friday

In the event of another "lockdown" phone sessions will be offered.

I am very happy to offer a shorter free initial appointment if you wish to further discuss how counselling can support you.

I am a qualified, insured and National Counselling Society Accredited Registrant, with several years experience working with adults and young people.

I also have many years experience working with parent carers of special and additional needs children, alongside personal experience of the challenges faced by children and adults on the spectrum. When schools, Drs, friends and family don't 'get it' , you need someone who can empathise with the impact these challenges have on family life.

My ethos is to make professional private counselling accessible to all and I facilitate this by offering a competitive rate of £25 per 50 minute session. Please contact me to discuss low income and student counsellor concessions.

My approach to therapy is based on the Person Centred, Humanistic theory, that everyone is an individual with unique experiences. My role is to listen to your concerns and support you while you discover your own needs, wants and goals. I am not here to advise you or to direct your life.

I offer a warm, friendly, non judgemental environment for you to share your thoughts and feelings about the past, present and future. Sessions are client led; we work with what you want to talk about and move at your pace.

I have volunteer counselled for a special needs charity and I have a passion for supporting those in a caring role.

Please note there is unfortunatley no disabled access to my office.

Please do not hesitate to contact me to further discuss how I can support you or to book an appointment.
