About me
You may have ended up here because you or a loved one is going through a challenging time. Reaching out for support isn't always easy and yet, here you are taking these valuable steps towards things feeling a little lighter for you.
I'm Victoria and I'm a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I use an integrative approach in my practice, combining a skillset of CBT, compassion focused therapy and relaxation techniques. We all have different stories and experiences that shape how we view ourselves and the world around us. In our counselling space I can offer safety, compassion and trust to support you in navigating through the tough stuff at your own pace.
Coming from a background of working within the media industry and also volunteering for a children & young person’s mental health support charity - I use my creative skills to compliment my counselling approach. I'd like to support you in breaking the cycle of challenging thoughts, emotions and behaviours, allowing you to embrace the joys in life again.
I am currently supporting adults (18+) with issues such as:
Depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, communication struggles, boundary setting, pregnancy & fertility, self-esteem, family & relationship problems, grief and anger struggles. (I have lived experience of ADHD).
I am currently holding sessions in person at The Bearsden & Milngavie Therapy Centre also online through Zoom.
If you'd like to find out more about what our sessions would look like then please feel free to get in touch through email (hello@remedeasewellbeing.co.uk) or sign up for a free 30 minutes introductory call.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
