Victoria Randall MBACP Adult & Young People Counsellor
My aim as a counsellor is to provide my clients with a safe, confidential and therapeutic space to offload what is troubling you and causing you any distress or disharmony in your life. To be truly listened to without judgement, criticism and being emotionally involved can be so beneficial and empowering. I can offer that professional listening ear and will walk alongside you to work out what you want and need to do to move forward or just be able to live more at ease in the present moment. Sometimes we may just need to reach an acceptance and awareness of who we are in the world that we live in.
Life can be difficult and feel like it is testing us but it is also an opportunity for us to learn about ourselves from whatever it throws at us. Understanding ourselves and our emotions is so important as we often spend more time worrying about how other people are feeling causing us to neglect our self. When we are in this place we can leave ourselves vulnerable to anxiety, depression and other mental health issues which can affect our day to day life.
As an experienced Humanistic Integrative counsellor I can draw on several types of therapy to help work with whatever you bring to the counselling sessions. I also believe that Mindfulness can be a great skill and way of living to calm our overthinking minds that can cause us an uneasiness with life.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and I have full professional indemnity insurance. I attend regular clinical supervision to ensure that I am providing you with a professional and ethical service.
I run my private practice from therapy rooms in Christchurch and offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments.
