Victoria Monsoon-Ramirez MBACP Dip. Couns BA (hons)
Hello and thank you for looking at my page. I am a counsellor working in Thanet, I am taking on new clients and am happy to see clients age 16+. I aim to be as flexible as possible and believe in making counselling accessible and affordable for all so if you are worried you cannot do certain times or pay a certain price, just let me know and I'm sure we can make something work.
I understand how hard it can be to trust someone you don't know but my clients tell me I am easy to talk to, trustworthy and empathic to their needs. I believe you are the expert in your life and I want to help you to feel like the best version of yourself.
I mainly work in a person centered approach with clients, simply put, this means that you are at the center of the work we do and you set the topic of each session. However I like to use other theories and approaches that may be beneficial to you, making a tailored approach to therapy. Most importantly of all I will offer you a safe and confidential space.
I know that accessing counselling can be a big step for a lot of people. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and will try and make your journey through counselling as easy as possible. I truly care about people and believe that everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilling life.
I can offer a free telephone consultation with you to answer any questions you may have about the service I provide. I also have a Facebook page you can follow and get in touch with me via if you are not quite ready to commit to sessions right away. You can find that here: https://www.facebook.com/MonsoonCounsellingService/
All the best to you and I wish you luck in your search for the right counsellor, if I am not the one.
