About me

Hello. I’m Vicky, a BACP-registered integrative counsellor who works with individuals (18+). I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call to determine whether we would be a good fit to work together.

As a therapist, I offer a calm, supportive environment where you can talk freely and without judgment. Together we can:

  • Explore how past experiences may be affecting you now
  • Identify patterns of behaviour and how they may no longer be helpful
  • Develop new coping strategies
  • Increase self-awareness
  • Support positive change in your life

I work in a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming way, meaning I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs and experiences. You’ll be met with empathy, respect, and a commitment to understanding you - just as you are.

I offer sessions online and by telephone (UK-wide) and in person in Banbury, Oxfordshire. If you're curious about how counselling might help or ready to get started, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to answer any questions and help you take the next step.

I am a qualified counsellor offering a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for adults (18+) to explore a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. My core training is grounded in relational, person-centred, and integrative approaches, allowing me to adapt to meet each client’s unique needs and experiences.

Through my counselling work, I have supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, trauma (including relational trauma), grief, self-harm, shame, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, and rejection sensitivity dysphoria (RSD). I’ve helped clients build self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward positive change in their lives.

I have experience working with neurodivergent clients (specifically ADHD, Autistic and AuDHD) and I offer an inclusive, neurodiversity affirming therapeutic space where all parts of a person are welcomed. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to support each client’s journey toward healing and growth.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I’m an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches to support you in a way that feels right for you. My core training is in humanistic, non-directive therapies—these include Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis. These approaches put your experience at the heart of our work together and trust in your capacity to grow and heal.

Alongside these foundations, I’ve also had further training in Polyvagal Theory, attachment theory, and creative ways of working. This helps me offer a more holistic and flexible approach—whether that’s exploring how your nervous system responds to stress, looking at relationship patterns, or using creative tools to help express what might be hard to put into words.

Together, we’ll find a way of working that supports your unique journey.
