About me
Does every day feel like a battle against the ache of loss? Are you feeling lost in the darkness of grief, unsure how to move forward?
Are you overwhelmed with life issues and need some support?
Do you feel anxious and would like to learn how to feel calm?
Would you like to feel acknowledged and validated?
If you are answering YES to any of these questions and would like to consider counselling with me then please reach out for a FREE 30 minute telephone/video assessment (mandatory prior to engaging in counselling with me) via WhatsApp.
I specialise in supporting those suffering grief due to bereavement and I have enabled people to regain balance, meaning, restorative calm, so that they can regain a sense of independence to continue living their life.
I am an Accredited Pregnancy & Infant Loss Practitioner providing specialised support for all forms of Pregnancy Loss honouring the unique grief and emotions that come with each experience. (Including stillbirth, miscarriage, missed miscarriage, molar pregnancy, failed fertility treatment, ectopic, unknown location, miscarried multiple, absorbed multiple, medical/surgical termination, termination) and infant loss (including SIDS).
My counselling experience includes supporting people with issues of overwhelm, stress (I am a certified Stress Management coach), anxiety, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, trauma, abuse, life losses, lack of meaning and purpose, social anxiety and health diagnosis in particular Cancer, working with the newly diagnosed as well as those receiving palliative care to end of life.
I have helped individuals overcome low self-esteem, low self-worth, lack of confidence, loss of sense of self/identity.
I am a BACP Registered Counsellor based in St Helens, Merseyside, offering in-person, online and walk & talk counselling for adults aged 18+. I work with both male and female clients in a gentle, confidential, and non-judgemental way. Working online I can support clients across the UK as well as expats in Europe, the Middle East and the Gulf Region.
I am based in the beautiful Health & Wellbeing Centre at Millfield Court in Eccleston, St Helens. Adjacent to Eccleston Woods, Taylor Park and Eccleston Mere. The Health & Wellbeing Centre has a private entrance, separate from other businesses, to support your confidentiality. We aim to provide a professional environment where compassion, care and discretion are at the heart of everything we do. Saturday and evening sessions are available
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and empowering experience — one where you feel seen, accepted, and in control of your own journey. My approach is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, which means I focus on creating a relationship of warmth, trust, and respect. I may also gently draw on other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis (TA), Internal Family Systems (IFS), or Experiential where appropriate — but always at your pace, and with your goals in mind.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you make sense of things and move forward in a way that feels right for you. Counselling with me offers you the space and time to explore, reflect and review how you think and feel and gives you the tools to help you live a more fulfilling and content life.
I’m someone who truly values deep listening, honesty, and helping people reconnect with their own sense of worth and direction. I know how hard it can be to reach out, and I’ll always meet you with compassion, not judgement.
If you're ready to take the first step — or simply have a few questions — you're very welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial assessment. This session gives us a chance to explore whether you feel comfortable working with me, and whether I’m the right fit for your needs. It also allows me to consider whether your concerns fall within the scope of my practice, as there are certain areas I do not specialise in, such as addictions and eating disorders. Having this initial conversation helps ensure that counselling is a good match — before you commit to a full session.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
