If you are feeling anxious, depressed or having relationship problems now could be the time for you to take time to reflect on what is troubling you. Often the ups and downs of everyday life can become overwhelming and allowing time to process what feels difficult could be the answer.
I understand that contacting someone when you are feeling vulnerable can be a very difficult thing to do. I offer a safe space to explore your inner thoughts in a professional and non judgmental way.
Counselling could be the opportunity for you to invest in yourself, be truly heard and provide a space to explore the things that are troubling you. Sometimes we all need to allow time to clear our minds, and sort out what feels overwhelming.
‘To be truly heard can be a life changing experience.’
Counselling can enable you to create that space to explore your own personal inner world in a empathic and non judgmental way.
Together we can work to explore your problems at a pace that is comfortable for you allowing you to better understand past events that maybe influencing your current life. Counselling can be challenging at times, the outcomes can be however, life changing and rewarding. I would like to help you to discover your strengths and make sense of what is overwhelming for you.
I am a fully qualified psychodynamic counsellor with over nine years clinical experience.
What is Psychodynamic Counselling
Psychodynamic counselling looks at the way that our early experiences can affect our later lives. Relationships and patterns of behaviour although not always evident, may be the key to unraveling the issues that might e concerning you now. By working safely and at a pace that feels right for you we could explore what maybe hidden in your unconscious which could give you the capacity to make real positive changes. Counselling is a unique relationship based on empathy and understanding.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
