About me

' Vicky is very easy to talk to, as well as being receptive she is insightful, and I really felt she wanted to help; and she did. She is supportive and will also challenge your perceptions when needed. Vicky helped me through a tough time, I appreciate that. I would highly recommend her.    D.'

'I found Vicky to be warm and friendly. She listened to issues I couldn't  speak to family about, showing me compassion and empathy. That kindness helped me change my life. Thank you.  M'

Hi and welcome to my profile. If you need help with anxiety, depression or other issues and feel like nobody understands, then please get in touch and let's talk. Don't suffer in silence. I understand how difficult living with anxiety can be and I truly believe therapy with the right, counsellor for you, can be life changing!!

Talking to a stranger about your issues can be daunting but taking that first step I believe is something you won't regret.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and have been working at Mindsense Therapy now for 2 years as both counsellor and Manager. I'm passionate about helping clients work through issues that they feel they want to overcome. It has always been a passion of mine to make a difference to others and as a therapist I feel I can achieve that if we work together on your problems- no matter how small.

As a person, I am a genuine, warm, open, and honest, makes me easy to talk to. My bubbly personality and friendly nature offer clients a warm welcome into the practice with the reassurance that they will receive empathy, congruence and be fully supported throughout the professional relationship. The atmosphere at Mindsense Therapy reflects my personality and all clients are warmly welcomed into our non clinical setting.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
