Vicky Cooper BSc (Hons) MBACP
I am a caring and compassionate person, dedicated to providing professional supportive therapy to adults and teenagers. Having had to adapt to changes in my own life, has given me the experience and helped to develop the qualities of an empathic and committed counsellor.
Counselling for me is about forming a trusting therapeutic relationship, to help and support people in removing obstacles in and around their lives.
I am an experienced counsellor offering a safe, supportive and non-judgemental atmosphere, putting each individual's needs at the heart of our work together, whilst maintaining the ethical framework for good practice (in accordance with BACP).
I offer an integrative approach, which means I combine different approaches, to tailor my counselling style to individual personal needs. Working flexibly with an emphasis on creating a warm, confidential and non-judgemental relationship, allowing you the freedom to explore your thoughts and feelings.
I strive to provide a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment for my clients.
All my work is supported by supervision.
