Vicky Agnew DipHE RegMBACP Integrative Counsellor
I trained as a counsellor after attending counselling myself and have first hand experience of the benefits of exploring thoughts and feelings in a confidential and safe environment. I understand the initial fears and uncertainty of where to begin or what to expect from the process.
I am a registered member of BACP the professional organisation for counselling and psychotherapy. I work as an integrative counsellor which allows me to adapt my way of working to suit your individual needs.
I provide a one to one counselling service working with people from all backgrounds. This is by appointment only service, in a safe and confidential space, where the client has an opportunity to talk about about any issues or concerns in a safe and confidential environment whilst being listened to without being judged.
I believe for the counselling process to work, you as the client must feel safe valued and understood and this requires the respect understanding and trust which can only be developed within the “counselling relationship”. I recognise that we are we are all unique and individual and therefore believe that in order for the counselling to work it is important that I work in a manner best suited to you and at your pace to work towards an agreed goal. I have seen the benefits of counselling for clients, giving them an understanding of themselves and the problems they are facing.
