With the current situation happening around us, I am offering online sessions through secure, encrypted platforms. Find a safe space for you to talk and give yourself some time.
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to. Sometimes we just need a little extra support whether we are feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, whether there are problems in our relationships, at work or whether you just need that time to yourself, for yourself.
What is counselling?
Counselling is an opportunity to share, explore, understand and striving forward to help you thrive rather than survive.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I offer online counselling sessions with a non-judgemental space for you to be listened to and supported. Whether you are busy working, travelling and being in various locations on a regular basis, trying to balance life or would rather have sessions from the comfort of your own home, counselling is accessible and flexible. Choose from video call, email or instant messaging sessions.
What to expect from our counselling sessions:
I am able to listen and support you in our time together, working at a pace that is set by you and recognises your individual needs. All sessions are client led, bespoke to your needs. When we gain insights, we can then take actions which encourage positive change within our lives.
I have experience in working with, Anxiety, Panic attacks, Depression, bereavement, domestic violence, relationships issues, self-esteem and confidence. Alongside this, I have worked with military spouses and families to support daily life and challenges and have personal experience of this.
You can also book sessions, to help coach you to attain goals in business or life.
How long we work together depends on your individual requirements. I offer both short term and long-term counselling.

Although I am predominantly trained in the Adlerian approach to counselling, I feel it is important to offer clients a range of methods as we are all individuals and have our own process experience. I have also studied Person Centred counselling and trained as a Points of You (phototherapy) practitioner and expert.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
