Having a degree in Psychology gives me the ability to provide you with a full biological explanation of distressing emotions with particular regard to unwanted intrusive thoughts, unpleasant physiological symptoms and repeated maladaptive behavioural patterns.
I will provide you with immediate coping strategies to help with any physiological problems directed from anxiety and also an intervention plan to identify and address the maladaptive thinking and behavioural patterns.
An extremely safe psychological environment is present in order to facilitate you explore any underlying past and present issues interfering with life quality. Although insight alone is not sufficient to address any irrational thinking patterns it is enlightening to know where they have originated from. A cognitive behavioural approach will be implemented during this process of change with the accompaniment of emotional support.
