About me

‘The adventure of life is not about discovering new landscapes but by seeing the old ones with new eyes’.

I am specialised on providing interpersonal solutions on different psychological issues for couples, families and individuals and I can offer short-term and long-term counselling in Central London. I do believe and I have witnessed through my experience that every little difficulty we experience as human beings is based deep down on a relationship issue, either loss of a relationship or an interperosnal difficulty in maintaining and creating healthy relationships.

I welcome LGBT individuals and couples. I can also offer sessions in Greek.

I am a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and I work according to its ethical guidelines and confidentiality policies.

Currently I work in private practice and as a sessional counsellor for Wandsworth and Westminster Mind Talking Therapies and Well-being service.

My work is based on an integrative model which means that I am trained on several therapeutic approaches, including systemic, psychodynamic, narrative, transpersonal , mindfuleness, Gestalt, transactional analysis and CBT and I try to involve different methods and interventions within my therapy sessions according to what is brought forward by my clients.

I am also an accredited IPT Therapist (Interpersonal therapy for depression) which is I believe one of the best evidence based treatment methods that can support someone to deal with and recover from a depressive episode that can be linked to an interpersonal issue such as loss of a relationship, constant arguing with a significant person, complicated grief and so on .

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSC Hons in Psycholgy from City University, an MSC in Applied Psychology from Brunel University, an MSC in Child Development and Learning from Oxford Brookes University and an MA in Relationship Therapy from Hull University.
