Hi, my name is Vanita, I am a therapist and a PhD student. I completed my training in 2012 and have been practising therapy since. With 7 years of experience along with my research supporting my practise I can offer a therapeutic service which is tailored to your needs.

I have worked on issues that involve significant life changes including: changing schools/areas, marriage, having a baby, bereavement/loss, breakdown of relationships, etc. Other areas of expertise include working with anxiety, panic, stress, low mood, depression, self-harm, trauma, building resilience and preparing for significant changes.
A time and space can be provided to focus exclusively on your needs. Sessions can be held as regularly as necessary to support the changes you want.
I am focused on delivering a professional, empathic and proactive service with a strong belief in confidentiality and respectfulness in a non-judgemental and safe environment. Specialities include person centred therapy, solution focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), couples counselling, humanistic therapy, mindfulness.
