About me
Hi, I am a warm, mature and non-judgemental therapist who can work with individuals, couples or families. I am a Systemic Therapist which means that I recognise that the relationships we are part of (- in our work places, our marriages/partnerships and our families) -can have a big impact on how we feel about our lives. I can work with you on your own or with family members to help you work through the tough times.
I prefer to work face to face with clients but can also offer on-line sessions where distance or travel is a barrier.
I am passionate about working collaboratively and in partnership with clients, to help them find a way forward when things are difficult.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a fully qualified Systemic Psychotherapist ( MSC).
I am a member of The Association of Family Therapy and I am registered with UKCP.
I have been in private practice for ten years.
I have a lot of experience of working both with families in crisis and with individuals.
I am experienced in working with clients who have experienced sexual abuse; depression, and with bereavement and loss of loved people and animals.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
