About me

‘‘Like a boundless sea, we have the capacity to embrace the waves of life as they move through us. Even when the sea is stirred up by the winds of self-doubt, we can find our way home’’- Tara Brach

The purpose of my service is to enhance the quality of life of my clients.

I am a person centred counsellor based in Wolverhampton. My work experience involves working with a vast array of mild, moderate and severe clinical presentations; from stress, anxiety, depression through to attachment difficulties, domestic abuse, substance abuse, trauma, self harm, personality disorders, bereavement, relationship, abuse, past experiences that impact future and life.

The sessions are conducted as per the BACP code of ethics.

I completed my counselling placements at Aspiring Futures and Newbridge Surgery in Wolverhampton. I have successfully established therapeutic alliance with culturally diverse clients with distinct needs and abilities, many of these individuals have been referred by Healthy Minds, Believe to Achieve, EPA programmes,Well-being centres and Haven Wolverhampton, through their Social Workers, GPs and self–referrals.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
