About me

Welcome to my counselling page.

I am an experienced individual counsellor and therapist and Relate trained couple counsellor.
Painful experiences, worries about the future can all make it hard to handle difficult situations in your relationship. Sometimes life can feel difficult for no particular reason and you don't know who to turn to for help. We can discuss how I might be able to help you and understand your difficulties.
During the first session we can explore how we work together and how best this can be achieved.

I work mainly with couples, with individuals whose partners may be reluctant to visit a counsellor, or individuals seeking a better understanding of themselves, their family or work relationships. If the problem is very specific a few sessions and brief interventions may be all you want or need to handle difficult situations. You may like to work in a more open ended way, taking time to explore your world and working towards personal growth and development. Perhaps the difficulties you are experiencing have been with you for some time, and may take longer to work through.

I am able to offer time limited, short term and open ended work, using an integrative approach in various therapies that include systemic and psychodynamic approaches. Depending on what you want and need we can discuss together a starting point for your therapy.

If you would like to find out more about having sessions with me you can call or e-mail me at my practice in Weybridge. If you are leaving a message with your details I will get back to you within 24 hours.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
