About me
I am originally from Italy and have been living in London for the last 25+ years. I have also lived in various countries around the world and I work in English, Italian and Spanish.
I have a corporate background of 20+ years, which began right after my University of London degree (BA Hons Japanese) and then came to an ending when I discovered yoga, meditation and psychotherapy, and I decided to become a therapist myself. I trained as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor and I am currently studying Advanced Dip in Integrative and Transpersonal Psychotherapy.
My decision was made naturally and consciously. The more I met myself in the therapy room and on the yoga mat, the more I realised I wanted to move into a profession where I could help others who might be experiencing what I had gone through in life. This is my true calling and what I am meant to do in life.
My personal trauma is what led me on this path and I am very open about it. I believe that talking about the crucial and painful events in my life in therapy is what ultimately led me to heal and accept all the parts of myself and also be proud of whom I have become.
I will meet you with empathy, understanding and full acceptance for whom you are. It is my aim to help you discover all parts of yourself and lead a fulfilling life, free of shame and guilt and full of self-love and self-awareness.
In our work together, I will guide you and facilitate a process through which you will discover yourself in a true and authentic way. I might include some breath work, meditations, affirmation writing or other creative exercises if you are open to it.
We will also work around your inner child and the wounded parts that might need attending, so that you can re-establish a connection with yourself and strengthen the most important relationship: the one with YOU.
I strongly believe that once you can 'see' and 'meet' yourself, you can see and meet others in ways you might have not experienced before and you can also be seen and met differently.
All our sessions are confidential.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a PGDip in Psychosynthesis Psychology and a PGDip in Psychosynthesis Counselling from Middlesex University and the Institute of Psychosynthesis.
I am currently enrolled at Re-Vision, where I study Advanced Diploma in Integrative and Transpersonal Psychotherapy. This will complete my 7 years training as a Psychotherapist.
I am a registered member of BACP (MBACP) and I abide by their code of conduct.
Each session is between 50 and 60 minutes and I initially offer a 20 minutes, free of charge, consultation session. During this session, we will get to know each other and establish what you would like to work on and what has brought you to therapy. You will also have the opportunity to ask me questions about my experience and way of working.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
