About me
I have been working as a counsellor for the last 3 years and have been working as a healer (yoga, Reiki, meditation) for the last 10.
In therapy work, I create a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space, focusing on YOU and your needs. My aim is to enable you to meet yourself and attend those parts of you that have been neglected or undiscovered for one reason or the other.
I believe in the power of self-love, which brings us to heal deep wounds and regain life.
In my therapy room, I invite you to come in with an open heart, ready to fully meet yourself and let go of everything that does not serve you any longer.
I use meditation, breath work, affirmations writing and drawing if the client feels that is something they want to explore.
I look forward to beginning this journey with you.
Up and onward!
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a PGDip in Psychosynthesis Psychology and a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from Middlesex University and the Institute of Psychosynthesis.
I am a registered member of BACP (MBACP) and I abide by their code on conduct.
Each session is between 50 and 60 minutes and I initially offer a 30 minutes, free of charge, consultation session. During this session, we will get to know each other and establish what you would like to work on and what has brought you to therapy. You will also have the opportunity to ask me questions about my experience and way of working.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
