About me

Feelings of stress, anxiety, depression have multiplied since the lockdown, and now you are feeling like you can no longer manage. You have become more irritable and frustrated with your family members, and they have noticed it too. You don’t have anyone around you, to whom you feel you can really open to, so the feelings of irritability and frustration are just building up within you. You have recognized that you need some support.

You want to be able to understand the root of these feelings, as they are something that you know, won’t disappear. You want to be heard without being judged or without anyone telling you what to do. Because who knows you more than yourself, right?

I can help. I will not direct you, judge you, or even advise you. I will be there to offer a free and safe space where you can voice your concerns, and ‘let it all out'. By working together, you will slowly start to have a better understanding of yourself.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am a member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

In the past, I have worked with the charity Life Changes, which provides low-cost counselling to individuals. I have also volunteered with Yellow Door (formerly Southampton Rape Crisis).

I currently work as an online counsellor ( I am based in Mauritius, originally from Southampton) through Uk based agencies and my own private practice.

Giving the change in working circumstances due to the pandemic, I completed a Certificate in Online and telephone Counselling (2020)

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
