Usha Dabycharun - MBACP, BSc (Hons), Dip HE
Addiction has taken over your life. You didn’t see it as a problem before, but now, you're starting to realise the impacts that it's had on your personal and professional life. You feel ashamed to speak about it for fear that people won’t understand you, or because you don’t want to disappoint them. But you feel incapable of dealing with this by yourself, and recognise that you need support. You want to return to the days before it started. You want to understand the root of it. And you want to gain back the control in your life that you feel you have lost.
I am a person-centred therapist, which means that you will be able to speak about what is on your mind without being directed. You will be able to explore and understand the causes of your problem. Here, you will not be judged in any way. And as your counsellor, I will aspire to understand your unique situation as you work towards your own objectives.
I understand that you are looking for the right counsellor. I offer a 20-minute free introductory call so we can have a short chat and see whether we would be suitable for working together. I work online, so if you have a busy schedule or work in shift patterns, I can offer flexibility when booking sessions. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

I have a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I am a member of the BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
