I am a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist based in Gourock and an accredited member of the British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapists (BABCP), which is the lead organisation for CBT in the UK.
I am also fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) which is used for processing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma.
I am an experienced therapist and work with a variety of issues including Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Trauma, Low Self Esteem, as well as many more.
I graduated as an Occupational Therapist in 1997 and have worked in the area of Mental Health since then. I initially worked in hospital settings before moving onto working in a community setting for 10 years with individuals who had severe and enduring mental health difficulties. I completed my Post Graduate Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy Diploma at the University of Dundee in 2014 and have been carrying out Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with many individuals since then.
I have also completed the full four parts training of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2016 and have experience of successfully treating individuals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Sessions are charged at £50 per session.
Most appointments will last from 45-60 minutes, however longer appointments can be arranged should therapist/client think it necessary and charged accordingly. If you arrive late for an appointment I would be unable to run over the appointment and the appointment time would be reduced. You would still be charged at the full rate.
Cash payment only is accepted and will be required at the end of each session.
Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours before the appointment. Appointments after this will be charged in full.
