I am a warm person who has extensive experience working with people with a wide range of issues. Counselling can help anyone facing a difficult decision, a crisis at home or at work, a physical condition brought on by stress, low self-esteem or general feelings of anxiety or unhappiness. Psychotherapy is a longer-term commitment that engenders a deeper-self awareness, aiding lasting change and well-being. My aim is to provide a safe space in which clients can explore their inner world and gain greater insight into themselves without criticism in order to live healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives.
The first step is to meet for an initial consultation and together assess your needs, look at the options available and decide how to move forward.
I offer both short or longer term counselling, although sometimes a single meeting is all that is needed. Sessions last for 50/55 minutes, usually weekly unless otherwise agreed.
