About me

Finding the right therapist can feel confusing, especially when you are feeling at your most vulnerable and looking for someone to really listen and help you find the right way forward for you.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor which means I am trained in a number of different theories and techniques so that I can specifically combine the most effective therapy for your individual needs. It can be difficult asking for help, but it is also a brave and life changing choice to make. I have a warm caring approach and will work with you to find a way forward that is best for you in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment which enables you to feel heard and understood.

Seeking Therapy can be a huge step, it may be the first time you have ever spoken about your problems and feelings. You may be experiencing overwhelming feelings of confusion, anger, depression or be feeling scared, you may be finding it hard to cope. Please feel free to ring or email for an initial discussion to see how counselling could help you.

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
