About me

Sometimes life feels overwhelming.

It could be loss, fear, anxiety, sadness, bereavement or any number of issues that can get in the way of a happier life.

Maybe there doesn't seem to be an obvious reason, the bleak feeling is just there.

I'm here to help you make sense of it all.

A life-long interest in the uniqueness of people led me into counselling. Now, in my capacity as professional counsellor, I am in constant awe of each clients ability to heal, grow and flourish given the right therapeutic conditions.

Fundamentally, I believe it is the relationship between us that is the most important part of the therapeutic process. I shall offer a safe space to develop this relationship and explore any thoughts and feelings you have that is rarely possible to do with family and friends. A place where you will feel 'heard' and understood.

An opportunity to 'untangle' .

I am warm, down-to-earth, kind and non judgemental.

Taking the leap into counselling can be daunting, for this reason I offer a free initial consultation by phone.

I can offer sessions in 3 locations covering the north of Leicestershire as well as video counselling via zoom.

I also offer a popular 'Walk and Talk' therapy session around the beautiful Thornton reservoir or Bradgate Park.

If you have any problems with mobility I can arrange to meet you at your home.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions you may have.
