BA (hons) MBACP Integrative Psychotherapist

About me

My business is called Proud To Be Therapeutic Foundation. At Proud to be Therapeutic Services we help our clients to find clarity in their life. At the beginning of therapy, it is likely that a client might be faced with confusion or struggling to deal with a certain situation or looking for answers which they do not yet have. In this instance, the client is given the opportunity and the resources that they need to find the answers that they are looking for. These results are obtained by the facilitation of a trained practitioner, who is there to listen, empathise and guide the clients to new and helpful conclusions about their current circumstances. Proud To be therapeutic Services believes and serves under the premise that by equipping our clients with the right resources we are giving them the opportunity that they need to continue living their lives in a complete, fulfilling and satisfying way. This company serves those people who are ready for positive changes in their lives. This means that every client that is seen at Proud to be Services is self-referring meaning that it is the client's choice to be in therapy.

The mission here is to provide a safe, confidential and professional online service where those who are troubled may go to explore what is going on in their lives through coaching, counselling and mentoring. The aim here is that by examining their lives, individuals will result with the clarity and the tools which they need to continue to live fulfilling lives.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
