About me

You have just made the first move to a more positive future, maybe I can help you.

If you have any questions or a general enquiry, please email or text me and I can call you back at a time that suits us both.

Looking for a counsellor is the first step on your journey. Feel free to contact me and we can have a short telephone conversation and discuss what help and support you need right now. Finding the right therapist for you can be really difficult.

I can offer a calm, safe, tranquil environment where you can explore what's going on for you right now. Together we can build a trusting relationship, I am someone you can rely on, not to  be judgemental and remain confidential.

I offer short term and long term counselling for what ever your needs may be. I have extensive  experience of working with people with anxiety, depression, bereavement, miscarriage, abuse, sexual assault, historic attachment issues, PTSD, tricky relationships and much more.

Please see below for comprehensive list of experience.

I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and I, work mainly in an Integrative and Creative way, never forgetting my Person Centered core values, always putting the needs of the client first. This means I have many counselling "tools" in my tool box, and will use the approach that I feel fits with you and your emotional uniqueness and needs.

The therapeutic space is yours to explore the difficulties you are facing right now.
Working creatively to explore emotions when words just won't come, or there are no words. Its like unravelling a knotted ball of wool, or peeling back the layers of your life, like the layers of an onion.

Life is not always easy and sometimes, when you are going through difficult times you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel or see your way through. Having someone to talk to who is not part of your family or your friendship group, some where you can say exactly what you are really thinking or what your are afraid of, where you can take the mask off that you wear everyday, it could be your place of calm in what may feel like a very chaotic world.......  just to be.....and be yourself

I have always enjoyed working with different people, from all walks of life and feel it is a real privilege to be part of someone's journey and to listen to their life stories.

I look forward to hearing your story.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
