About me

I was a client receiving counselling before I became a qualified counsellor. I have been a counsellor for 18 years. I understand from a personal point of view how difficult it is to speak to a stranger and admit you need help. I have had a range of clients who know what their problems are and have been able to find solutions. There are others who are unable to identify their problems but through therapy have gained new awareness which has allowed them to make changes.

What counselling has done for me is:

  • helped me to understand myself
  • to become aware of my way of being in this world
  • how my behaviour affects other people and how I can change that without comprising my own needs.

This has enabled me:

  • to communicate more effectively
  • to value myself
  • increase my self-esteem and self confidence
  • to discover what I want and how to get this.
  • to help others achieve their goals

I would like you to be able to do the same and reach the potential that you want to reach.
