About me
Hi, my name is Tracy. I am a person-centred counsellor and was drawn to the counselling profession to be able to connect with people and help them through challenging times in their lives.
Having gone through some difficult challenges in my own life, I believe that change and growth are possible, and can be facilitated within the right environment. My style of therapy is informal, compassionate and responsive to embracing your needs, grounded in Person-Centred theory that will help you connect with and cultivate existing strengths to support progress towards the changes you wish to make. I want you to feel safe, heard, empowered as you move through the natural process of finding meaning, healing and hope.
My clinical experience includes working with a diverse range of clients within the NHS with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement and illness. I work to offer an equal service to all clients based on their individual needs in a non-judgemental therapeutic environment, offering empathetic understanding and unconditional positive regard where clients can feel safe to explore and express their thoughts and feelings to improve mental health, difficulties and adjustments to life changes.
