About me

Looking for a counsellor can be a daunting prospect.  I am a caring and experienced counsellor.  I offer counselling and psychotherapy for couples and individuals.

I understand we all have bad days, sometimes those days just don't seem to end. Stress and anxiety can affect our whole way of being. I have experience working with couples and individuals and understand the difficulties faced and the mixed emotions that can be felt. Working in a Person Centred way I offer a safe and confidential environment where I will support and help you.

I believe at times in our lives, many of us find ourselves unable to cope and need support, whether it be from family, friends, colleagues or counselling.

I have often heard the following phrases:

"I just want to be happy "; "I want the old me back again"; "everything's an effort"; "people say I should just pull myself together"; "I don't want to wake up", "If only I could change the past" ...............

A life changing event can take place and nothing will ever be the same again. It can be difficult to adapt to a new way of life and find a way forward. It doesn't have to be anything specific, however we can find ourselves struggling emotionally.
