13 Renown Way
I am a qualified Adult, Child and Family Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and I have a wide experience of working with adults, children and families. I have an in-depth understanding of mental health issues and I have worked with numerous individuals. I specialise in the field of childhood anxiety, depression, sexual abuse and trauma.
My approach to therapy is client-centered to help individuals in finding their unique strengths and talents by helping clients to understand their own levels of resilience and how to empower themselves to reach their full potential. I have also provided training and presented at conferences on working with children who sexually abuse as well as working with anxiety. I have also treated adults with major anxiety and depressive disorders such as low-self esteem, perfectionism and generalised anxiety disorder in various settings, providing both short-term and long-term therapy.
I am an accredited practitioner with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and National Organisation for Treatment of Sexual Abusers (NOTA).

If you decide that you would like to contact me an initial enquiry will be made over the telephone or email where we would briefly discuss any questions you have and availabilities. There will be no charge for this enquiry. Should you choose to proceed, we would then arrange a date, discuss fees and schedule an assessment session. Assessment sessions are generally longer. The assessment sessions are designed to discuss your difficulties, goals for treatment, treatment plan as well as provide you with an opportunity to ask further questions about therapy.
Following the assessment stage you are under no obligation to continue treatment with me and should you wish, I can also recommend other therapists or services for you to access. Should you choose to continue your treatment I would then schedule in further appointments. These appointments will last approximately 50-60 mins. Payments can be made by either cash, cheque or bank transfer.
Fees for sessions are negotiable which is intended to take into account individual circumstances including income and affordability. Reduced rates are also available.
If you would like to learn more about me and my therapeutic approach, please feel free to contact me. I can explain the therapy process in further detail and highlight what you can expect in therapy. I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone call to prospective clients.
