Tom Buckland Psychotherapist, Supervisor & Couple Counsellor. MBACP (Accred)
Tom Buckland. Registered Psychotherapist specialising in working with Anxiety and Relationships.
To keep everyone safe at the moment, I'm suspending face-to-face therapy to avoid making you travel and to reduce face to face contact, and instead, I'm offering Skype and Telephone therapy.
Taking into account the financial strain that the current situation will be causing, I will be offering this at a reduced rate:
From £50 to £40 - individual 50 minute counselling session
From £70 to £60 - Joint 60 minute couples counselling session
From £70 to £50 for solution-focused therapy (to work with anxiety etc
I also offer a £25 - 30 minute individual emotional support session.
If you're unsure what will help you, please email or call me, and we can discuss this.
Have you had times in the past when you've really struggled? Or maybe that time is now? If you would like a Free telephone conversation to talk this through, please call me on 07901522692 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We all struggle at times and the support of friends and family can be invaluable. But there are times when we need just a bit more support to help us through a difficult and painful time. That’s when seeing a professional is so important, to have a non-judgemental and confidential space to talk through what you’re going through, your feelings and your struggles, to help you come through this and reach a far better place.
I’m Tom Buckland, an Independent, BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and Couple Counsellor, based in Hythe near Southampton, and also Alresford, Hampshire. I’ve been helping people through difficult times since 2003 and specialise in providing Couple Counselling (once known as marriage guidance counselling or relationship counselling) as well as working with Anxiety and Trauma. I often work in a solution-focused way, helping someone overcome their issue and move to a better place as soon as they can, but also work with longer-term psychotherapy to allow a person the time and space they need.
Can be used for many reasons. You may be experiencing depression, Anxiety or OCD. You may have gone through a traumatic experience, or maybe you just want to explore changing your career, your life or maybe your relationships. Whatever it is, I can work with you, without making judgements or telling you what you 'should' be doing, so can gradually you get to the place you want, either emotionally or practically.
Counselling by Skype is an alternative if travelling distances are too large, or time too short, to carry out the face-to-face sessions. All the counselling skills are still used in Skype counselling, but you have the extra flexibility choosing where you carry out the session. Although not a complete substituted for face-to-face counselling, it’s a very good second choice if circumstances dictate.
The Relationship Centre
The centre was formed by Tom and his wife Tina (also an experienced counsellor) as a hub for couple counselling, research and development around forming a better relationship. The counselling is evidenced based and helps a couple improve their relationship, whether in crisis from an affair, or from years of indifference and poor communication. This has been developed from Tina and Tom’s experience in working with couples, and their belief that all relationships can improve with the right type of counselling.
Tom offers relationship counselling through the centre, and more details can be found at www.therelationshipcentre.org.uk
