Titos Florides MBACP, (aptpractice)
I am a qualified Existential Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience in the NHS and in private practice. Psychodynamic and existential approaches inform my practice.
I work relationally and endeavour to assist my clients to understand their relationship patterns and how these patterns impact on their sense of self, relationships and wellbeing.
The services I provide include psychotherapy and counselling, training and supervision.
You can get in contact with me by either email or telephone to arrange a consultation. A Consultation will last 50 minutes. This will give us an opportunity to meet and to talk about your concerns and establish if we can work together.
After this you can decide whether or not to commit to therapy. We will meet at least once a week on the same day at the same time. This regularity is important, because it provides continuity and structure.
Clients with little self confidence and low morale can experience beneficial change quickly bringing a shift in their sense of well being. Those with more complex difficulties will require a longer period of therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed an MA, advanced diploma in existentail psychotherapy (ADEP) and a diploma in clinical supervision. I have over 10 years experience in the NHS and in private practice, where I have worked with adults who present moderate to severe psychological difficulties.
I have worked in the voluntary support groups and the NHS, and have a vast experience of supporting diverse groups of people.
I am current lecturing and supervising at the School of Psychotherapy & Counselling Psychology at Regents University.
