Thank you or taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Tina and I am a qualified counsellor working out of Lisburn and Dromore.
I am a qualified counsellor and an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).
My counselling style is based on an integrated approach which means quite simply I put your needs first. People come to counselling for a variety of different reasons, it may be you are facing a life-changing event, experiencing shock or grief, feeling depressed, anxious or isolated without really understanding why. Alternatively, you may be feeling your life has no direction leading you to feel confused or trapped. These are many different reasons you may be seeking counselling in order to address issues which are keeping you stuck.
I will not judge you I will work with you with the aim of resolving these issues. As a counsellor, I am committed to putting your needs first.
Therapeutically I work with techniques from Cognitive Behavioural theory, Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic therapy approach. Often I within all there of these approaches to get the best fit for my clients.
Following an initial assessment, I will work with you to choose the right counselling model and techniques to support your goals.
I have been working with people in distress since 1987. I have significant experience of dealing within the areas of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, bullying at work and issues encountered by members of the LGBTQ community.
I specialise in:
Working with people who are Depressed or anxious including Panic.
I have a vast amount of experience with people who are experiencing issues related to work for example being bullied, over worked or feeling they have no confidence in the workplace. I believe and have experienced how counselling can help people understand these conflicts, achieve a greater balance or reach career decisions. I truly believe in employee wellbeing processes as being a key success factor in employee engagement and productivity.
I work from counselling premises at Dromore and Lisburn. However, my telephone and on line-services mean distance is no barrier to accessing our counselling.

1 hours pre-counselling assessment is free.
Individual Counselling Sessions are £40 for 50 minutes.
There is a 10% discount if you prebook 6 or 10 sessions with the money being due at the commencement of counselling.
I am able to offer appointments from my Dromore practice on a Monday and Tuesday and on a Wednesday I work from my Lisburn address.
