About me
Hello, I'm Tim and I have been enabling people to navigate change through mentoring, coaching and counselling since 2011.
My aim is to help you to achieve a sense of meaning and purpose in your life and relationships. I can help you to strengthen your awareness of your identity, map your support networks and plan the next steps in your journey.
Working together.
I have worked with both couples and individuals, in order to build confidence and enrich relationships through counselling. I also have experience working with young people and adults face to face and online.
My experience of working with couples has helped me to specialise in improving communication in relationships. This involves enabling meaningful and respectful conversations and lead to you achieving an increased sense of connection and intimacy in your relationship.
I am also a Relate trained relationship and young people's counsellor, having helped many people with anxieties, depression, low confidence and communication difficulties. I offer a safe space for you to come and talk through some of the challenges in your life.
My passion is to help people to find a clear sense of direction and purpose. So please contact me to arrange your free 15 minute initial consultation.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
