Are you struggling with something that happened in the past but afraid to bring it up again? Do you find it hard to trust people and develop healthy relationships? Or is that your low self-esteem&anxiety pushing you into people-pleasing and neglecting your own needs? Whatever it is, I am here to listen. It's time to stop pretending that everything is okay and take the time YOU need to figure out what's been holding you back.
You don't have to go through this alone anymore and it's okay to prioritise you. Counselling can be very intimidating, especially when it’s your first time ever or you had previous bad experiences. I can promise you that working with me will feel the furthest from intimidating.
I have worked with a variety of issues, but I am most passionate and experienced in supporting people who struggle with low self-esteem, people-pleasing, loneliness & lack of intimacy, and difficulty setting their boundaries. Many of my clients also experienced varying degrees of trauma whilst growing up including bullying, neglect, emotional, sexual, or domestic abuse.
I recently undertook training in the Rewind Technique developed by Dr David Muss. It's a fast and effective treatment to deal with the often debilitating symptoms of PTSD and trauma such as nightmares, anxiety, flashbacks, avoidance, irritability, concentration challenges, pre-occupation, and intrusive thoughts. The main benefit of the treatment is that the client doesn’t need to share details of the traumatic incident. The therapist only needs to know minimal information about the nature of the trauma.
Reaching out is always the hardest, but I know you got this! Email to book an assessment session to figure out if I am the right counsellor for you. You can also visit my website to learn more about what counselling with me looks like.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
