About me

I am an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist working in both the NHS and private practice. In the NHS, I support individuals experiencing difficulties with sexual health and those living with HIV. My broader clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and people with learning disabilities.

In my private practice, I support people navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological concerns. Some people come with a sense that something isn’t quite right, even if they’re not sure what needs to change or where to begin. Others may be facing challenges in relationships, with their health, sex life, work, or sense of identity. I also regularly work with people experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, and the impact of trauma. My role is to offer a safe, supportive space where we can explore these experiences together, at your pace, with compassion and curiosity, to gain clarity and work towards meaningful change.

I work from a person-centred approach, which means I believe that healing and growth happen when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted - without judgment. I aim to build a therapeutic relationship that supports you in connecting more deeply with yourself and finding your own way forward. In addition to this approach, I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to the concerns my clients bring.

I work affirmatively with LGBTQ+ clients and those exploring gender, sexuality, or relationship diversity. I also take a sex-positive stance, recognising the importance of sexual well-being as part of overall mental health. Whether you're navigating questions around identity, intimacy, mental health, or connection, you are welcome here - just as you are.

I understand that choosing a therapist you feel comfortable with is important. With this in mind, if you would like to arrange a brief initial conversation, I am happy to offer this without charge.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
